[LUAU] Email tech. support from RR.

Occasionally we have to reassign IP address subnets between our routers to
accomodate growth of our subscriber base. Because our projections don't
always (almost never) match the real growth patterns, and we have a limited
number of extra addresses assigned at any time, we have to move the
assignments from the slower to the faster growth areas. We also use these
opportunities to consolidate subnets that can be joined to simplify our
routing.

This is one of the reasons the use of DHCP is important in the Road Runner
residential network. If you are using DHCP correctly, your computer will
renew its lease soon after we make the address changes. When you log in the
next time everything should be working fine. When we move subnets we
always leave a schedule overlap until all the DHCP assignments time out.

The most recent changes were made on Thursday morning about 3:00 AM. A
maintenance schedule was posted to the Network Status page, although I'm not
sure in retrospect whether it mentioned the address changes. We have to
continue with this kind of realignment, quite a bit this month, and
occasionally in the future.

I am posting this to the Luau list because I hope it will be useful
infomation for everyone on Road Runner.
